KISKAKAS 2017

French animation schools are the guests of KISKAKAS in 2017.

The french animation scene has, for decades, been one of the leading forces in the animation world, be it for independent creations, television series or feature length films. In France, French animation draws in large audiences, and it’s not just children who are enthusiastic fans of the genre, adult audiences are interested in films in cinemas or on online platforms. So it is no wonder that a lot of festivals and thematic TV channels offer animated content. Animation is also one of the leading sectors of the French film industry, and that is why emphasis is placed on the educating future participants of the animation field.

This year KISKAKAS brings you the work of three french animation schools. All three workshops are unique, each possess a markedly different style, but each school is internationally recognised and had many major successes around the world.
